Amazon sells a "Fishers of Men Christian Quilt Bed Set" for a fixed price with no personalization - the same verse, the same layout, for everyone who buys it. A Christian bedding set that actually feels like it belongs to one household needs a name on it, not just a printed verse anyone can order.
Four quilt sets from Fathom Thread take a name before they ship. Two verses, two moods: Matthew 4:19 for someone who fishes and reads scripture, Matthew 6:26 for someone whose faith shows up in the backyard birds. $80.95 each.
Why Personalization Is the Real Gap Here
Search "Christian bedding set" or "Fishers of Men bedding" and the results are almost entirely fixed-print Amazon and Etsy listings - Bible verse, watercolor art, no name field. That works for a generic gift. It does not work for someone who wants their actual name, or a family name, woven into a verse they live by every morning.
1. Fishers of Men - Matthew 4:19 (Standard)
The Fishers of Men Matthew 4:19 Christian Fishing Quilt Bedding Set ($80.95) pairs the verse - "I will make you fishers of men" - with fishing art. This is the base design before personalization is added.
2. Personalized Fishers of Men - Two Names, One Set
The Personalized Fishers of Men Christian Fishing Quilt Bedding Set ($80.95) is the named version of the Matthew 4:19 design above: an underwater scene with the feet of Jesus walking on water, a school of fish, and the verse in bold-and-script lettering across the quilt. What makes it a two-person piece is the pillowcases - each one carries its own customizable name (shown as "Andrew" and "Evelynn" in the sample), with an Ichthys symbol beneath each. Add a name, and the verse stops being generic decor and becomes a piece that reads as this couple's or family's faith and fishing story.
Personalize: a name on each pillowcase, or "The [Surname] Family" if you'd rather share one name across the set than give each pillow its own.
3. Matthew 6:26 - Christian Birds Watercolor
Not everyone's faith imagery is fishing. The Matthew 6:26 Christian Birds Watercolor Quilt Bedding Set ($80.95) pairs "look at the birds of the air" with a softer watercolor palette - a better fit for a guest room or a bedroom that is not fishing-themed.
4. Personalized Matthew 6:26 - The Named Version
The Personalized Matthew 6:26 Christian Birds Watercolor Quilt Bedding Set ($80.95) is the version to buy if the gift is for someone specific - add the name before checkout so the verse belongs to them, not to a catalog thumbnail.
How to Choose Between Fishers of Men and Matthew 6:26
- Fishers of Men (Matthew 4:19): a fishing household, a lake house guest room, a gift for someone who fishes and reads scripture together
- Matthew 6:26 Birds: a softer, non-fishing bedroom - nursery-adjacent guest rooms, or a home where birdwatching is the shared hobby
- Always personalize. The un-personalized version is the same set Amazon already sells; the name is what makes it a Fathom Thread piece
Shop all four at Fathom Thread. Made to order. This is a Christian bedding set with a name on it - not the fixed-print version already sitting in every other search result.
