Fishing Christmas Decor for the Floor: Mats, Rugs & Sofa
Holiday gift guides for anglers stop at pliers and lures. Ornament roundups stop at the tree. Almost nobody plans for the part of a lake house guests actually walk through in December: the floor and the sofa. Muddy boots, a named doormat, a Fishmas rug guests see from the doorway, a sofa cover that is not the guest-bed quilt.
These seven pieces from Fathom Thread are cabin Christmas for the room you walk through- not bedding, not a stocking hook, not a sweater. Doormats $22.95. Rugs from $42.95. Sofa cover $34.99. Put the family name or the lake on them.
What "Cabin Christmas" Means on the Floor
- The first thing at the door (mat)
- The thing under the coffee table (rug)
- The thing on the couch they actually sit on (cover) - not the quilt in the guest room
If the bed is the project, that is a Christmas bedding set. If the tree is the project, that is ornaments. This article is entry + living room.

FAQ
Can I put our family name or lake name on the doormat and rug?
Yes. Each piece in this list has a Personalize option. Enter the name at checkout and the live preview updates as you type, so you can see how it will print before you order.
Which one should I buy if I only want one piece?
The doormat. It is the lowest-cost piece, it is the first thing guests see, and it works with or without any other Christmas decor inside. Add a rug next if the living room floor is bare, and the sofa cover last.
Can I bundle a doormat, a rug, and a sofa cover?
Yes. Set discounts apply automatically at checkout: 2 pieces save 10%, 3 save 15%, and 4 or more save 20%. A doormat plus a rug also clears the free-shipping threshold shown in the site banner.
Is the Michigan Great Lakes rug only for Michigan cabins?
It is a Michigan Great Lakes map design, so it makes the most sense for a Michigan family or a cabin on those waters. For a cabin anywhere else, the Merry Fishmas rug or the Vintage Bass rug is the easier fit.
How long does delivery take?
Everything is made to order and ships in 3 to 5 days, with standard delivery about 7 business days after production. Express is available at checkout for $35 (about 3 days production plus 5 days delivery). Order early in December to have it in place before guests arrive.
What if the print does not match what I entered?
