Native Trout in the United States Fishing Rug
The Native Trout in the United States Fishing Rug brings the look of a vintage natural history poster into your home with detailed illustrations of native trout species found across the United States. Featuring nine distinctive trout varieties, scientific names, and classic fishing-inspired details, this rug is a unique choice for anglers, nature lovers, cabins, and rustic interiors.
Design
The rug features a classic 19th-century scientific identification poster layout on a vintage cream and sand-colored background. The title “Native Trout in the United States” appears prominently across the top, framed by illustrated fishing rods that add an authentic angling touch.
Nine trout species are arranged in two columns, with each detailed fish illustration accompanied by its English name and italicized scientific name. Featured species include Golden Trout, Bull Trout, Dolly Varden, Gila Trout, Apache Trout, Rainbow Trout, Lake Trout, Brook Trout, and Cutthroat Trout.
The antique-inspired typography, natural fish illustrations, and parchment-style color palette create the appearance of a classic wildlife reference chart while celebrating the diversity of American trout and freshwater fishing.
